A Strategic Perspective

Over the course of her career Shannon has worked across both B2C and B2B environments helping companies build marketing systems that support long-term growth.

Her experience includes direct-to-consumer marketing, lifecycle marketing strategy, product-led marketing, account-based marketing, and go-to-market planning for new products and services.

She has worked with organizations ranging from emerging startups navigating venture capital funding to national brands launching new initiatives and entering new markets.

The Flamingo

Why the Flamingo

Flamingos are fascinating creatures that seem to defy all odds. Their bodies are large and vibrant, yet they stand on these tiny delicate legs that somehow support them effortlessly. Their knees bend backwards, yet they walk forward with confidence.

Their bright pink color does not blend into their surroundings, yet they have surprisingly few predators.

Flamingos live in communities where they care for one another. They are loyal animals that often mate for life.

There is something about them that feels bold and unapologetic. They are bright, distinctive, and impossible to overlook.

My love for flamingos started when I was a little girl visiting the Los Angeles Zoo. The flamingo habitat was one of the first exhibits you saw when entering the park. I remember pulling on my mom's hand so I could get there quickly and show her the birds I loved so much.

Back then I used to call them my "flying mingos."

The name stuck in my family and flamingos have remained my favorite animal and favorite color ever since.

When I created Eye Spy Solutions the flamingo felt like the perfect symbol. It represents individuality, perspective, and the courage to stand out.

Sometimes the most powerful opportunities appear when you are willing to see things differently.
